Midday Jazz Midtown is an ongoing jazz program for the midtown community. Concerts take place in the Sanctuary of Saint Peter's Church and are presented by Midtown Arts Common in cooperation with Saint Peter's Church. Ronny Whyte is the producer.

Wednesdays, 1:00 P.M - 2:00 P.M.

A suggested $10.00 donation to offset production costs may be given at the door.

About the musicians

Mark Wade has been an active bassist in the NYC area for over 20 years. From 2013-2014, Mark served as an Artist In Residence at Flushing Town Hall where his ensemble, the Mark Wade Trio, was presented in concert on a number of occasions. In 2012, Wade performed with jazz great Jimmy Heath as part of his "Four Black Immortals" East Coast tour. He has played with other notable jazz artists such as James Spaulding, Peter Eldridge, and Don Byron, and he appeared on The Today Show with Stacey Kent. He also performs regularly with the New York Jazz Repertory Orchestra led by trumpeter Bill Warfield. Featuring Tim Harrison (piano) and Scott Neumann (drums).
