The Jazz at the Plaza concert series is produced by Saint Peter's Church with the generous support of Boston Properties, Grand Central Partnership, The Coca-Cola Company, and Midtown Arts Common.

In the event of inclement weather, concerts will be held inside Saint Peter's Church. Jazz on the Plaza concerts will continue through the end of August.

About the Artist

NYC Flutist/composer and 2014 Guggenheim Award Fellow, JAMIE BAUM has toured 28 countries and worked with artists as diverse as George Russell, Paul Motion and Randy Brecker to Dave Douglas, Anthony Braxton and Wadada Leo Smith. Her recent fifth CD, In This Life (Sunnyside) was featured by WBGO’s RADAR, NPR’s All Things Considered and the NY Times. She’s been nominated by the Jazz Journalists Association for “Flutist of the Year“ several times and DownBeat Critics Polls annually since ’98. Known for her award-winning Septet+ of fifteen years and long-form compositions, Baum presents her new group, Short Stories.
