Martin Izquierdo: Lenten Meditations

Martin Izquierdo exhibits a variety of mixed media in a show entitled Lenten Meditations in the Living Room Gallery at Saint Peter's Church February 4 - April 4, 2016. Free and open to the public daily.

This installation is presented by Midtown Arts Common in cooperation with Saint Peter's Church.

About the work

The installation is folk-inspired crosses from different cultures and centuries as well as three sets of paintings based on the seven weeks of lenten masses.

Artist Martin Izquierdo was born in Mexico City. He has exhibited at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and collaborated on numerous projects for Broadway, opera, ballet, film, television, and fashion.

Saint Peter's Church is located at the intersection of Lexington Avenue and 54th Street in midtown Manhattan.

Gallery hours: daily 9:00 A.M. - 11:00 P.M.r
The Church building sometimes closes early.

Saint Peter’s Church is accessible to all people at the building entrances on Lexington Avenue and on 54th Street.
