First Tuesdays Seminars have brought an expansion of Chamber Music America’s series of professional development seminars for jazz and classical musicians to Midtown Arts Common. Seminars are held in cooperation with Saint Peter’s Church on the first Tuesday of most months in the Church’s Music Room from 3:00 - 5:00 P.M.

Artists are guided through such professional challenges as publicity, grant writing, networking, collaborations and copyright.

The program is supported by the National Endowment for the Arts, the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, the New York State Council on the Arts, and the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation. The MetLife Foundation supports audio recording.
