Matt Merewitz founded Fully Altered Media in 2007, giving equal emphasis to traditional (print and syndicated radio) and online publicity (social networking media in particular). He has since become a top publicist for some of the biggest names in jazz and creative music -- including Vijay Iyer, Miguel Zenón, Dave Douglas, Nels Cline, Chris Potter, John Hollenbeck, Myra Melford, Aaron Parks, Dan Tepfer, Theo Bleckman, Rudresh Mahanthappa, Matt Wilson, Todd Sickafoose, Linda Oh, Ryan Keberle -- securing coverage in media ranging from jazz magazines and Rolling Stone to Pitchfork.com and NPR. Merewitz has also overseen or consulted on campaigns for top labels, including ECM, Blue Note, Concord, and many others.
