Ageism: Why It Matters

The Gray Panthers have rounded up two powerhouses, author-activist Ashton Applewhite and epidemiologist Becca Levy, for this health forum hosted by the Yale Alumni Nonprofit Alliance. Both women were recently named “Influencers of the Year” by Next Avenue — they’ll be discussing the effects of ageism on our personal and professional lives and what it means when someone asks, “How old are you?”. This is sure to be a stimulating forum. Doors open at 6pm and RSVP is required.
