Plaza Room

MEDIUM AND SMALL EVENTS, WORKSHOPS and MEETINGS

The Plaza Room at Saint Peter's Church is a newly-configured room that partially borders the Atrium at 601 Lexington Avenue. The two spaces are separated by frosted glass. The Plaza Room is a handsome, comfortable space.

Typical use

Well-suited for medium and small-scale events, the Plaza Room is available to individuals or groups for workshops or meetings, presentations or conversations. Small film screenings with discussion work very nicely in this room.

This room is often used by the parish for teaching and education. It is also used for overflow space and as a green room. Simultaneous projection from the Sanctuary also makes the Plaza Room an ideal family-friendly room during public liturgies and events, and is easily accessible when parents and guardians feel a need for such a room.

Features of note

A comprehensive audio-visual system is fully integrated into the entire space, including a projector unit. Conference calling is also available. Tables, chairs, lectern and some other common furniture items are available for use.

Fully accessible and family-friendly restrooms are located nearby.

To use

A space use request form is available for download. Use a typewriter tool to complete the form and follow printed directions. Space use requests are reviewed every other week by a small committee that determines the feasibility of the request.
